They gathered different sources of research into a global picture of the innovation and talent markets around the world.

1. Innovation is a granular phenomenon, need to be analyzed in details – generalizations are difficult to make.

2. Three types of innovation centers: attackers, incumbents, integrators

4. Europe, US still with clear advantages, but Asia is catching up

5. Talent – becomes the key inhibitor, i.e. in Germany with current growth rate more than a million of highly skilled workers (a serious degree – engineers, MBAs, and alike) missing, will probably become a global phenomenon

7. Specific actions to accelerate innovation in different economies and industries

70-90% of new jobs come from startups in developing economies, the established companies have a very important role in the ecosystem – startups center around them, but the growth itself.
