Dr. Iris Ginzburg - Founder and CEO

An international expert in innovation and an entrepreneur, Dr. Iris Ginzburg established Demaya in 2008, one more chain in a long series of innovation related activities.

Iris founded and was the global leader of IBM's Innovation Management Practice. Working with international teams, Iris managed consulting projects, helping clients design and implement customized innovation process, explore new technology-based growth opportunities and guide open collaboration. She has worked with some of the most innovative companies around the world in the communications, industrial and financial sectors in Asia, US and Europe. Previously, Iris worked for a large financial institution, led a startup company and worked for PwC Management Consulting.

Iris is the director of an MBA program for Management of Technology, Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Recanati Business School at Tel Aviv University.

Iris is a strong believer in the Israeli Innovation ecosystem and in further developing it. In 2007 Iris founded the Israeli Innovation Forum (IIF) at IDC - the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya, taking the role of the academic director.

Iris has been teaching courses on Services Management and Technology Innovation at the best business schools in Israel: "Technology Innovation" and "Service Innovation" at the MBA program in TAU ; "Service Innovation" at the Zell Entrepreneurship Program at IDC ; "Introduction to MBA" at the Weizmann Institute. Iris speaks in high profiled international confrences, such as The Financial Times Innovation Summit, HICSS and CeBIT.

Dr. Iris Ginzburg holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Tel-Aviv University and an M.Sc. in Management of Technology from MIT Sloan School of Management.
